IGNITING PURPOSE IN YOUTH

Impact at Hiawatha Golf & Play

The Bronze Foundation (BF) is deeply committed to enriching the lives of young people. To further our commitment to investing in the future of Minneapolis youth, the BF has partnered with the First Tee MN—a non-profit created by lifelong educators dedicated to igniting purpose in our youth—to create Impact at Hiawatha Golf & Play. Together we are building a community-informed state-of-the-art Education and Community Engagement Center designed to bring resources to the children of the surrounding communities of South Minneapolis.

IMPACT AT BRONZE FOUNDATION MISSION
To partner with the surrounding community in co-developing and delivering transformative, high-quality educational programs designed to nurture social-emotional well-being and prepare youth for post-secondary success, and to invite youth to discover and achieve their fullest potential through character-rich golf programs and meaningful engagement in their community.

THE LEARNING CENTER

The Impact of the Hiawatha team is guiding the creation of an Education and Community Engagement Center at Hiawatha that features innovative programming designed to enhance academic achievement, career readiness, financial education, community cohesion, golf skills and values.

The resulting Bronze Foundation Education and Community Engagement Center will amplify our mission to propel an equitable future for generations to come by establishing the Hiawatha Golf Club and Education Campus as a beacon of student leadership. Through authentic and sustained community collaboration, the Center will offer transformative investments in the community surrounding Hiawatha, as well as the greater Minneapolis region, along with authentic and sustained community collaboration.

YOUTH CADDIE PROGRAM

Our youth caddie program at the Center will support the next generation’s drive to make a difference while nurturing an enhanced sense of social responsibility, community awareness, and empathy.
