History doesn’t just favor the bold, it is shaped by them.

This restoration isn’t just preservation of Minneapolis’s past, but an investment in our city’s future. Through this project, we plan to further benefit our green spaces, provide educational opportunities, generate revenue, and increase tourism, all while cultivating community togetherness.

Intertwined within our city’s own, Hiawatha’s backstory is filled with bold acts of heroism and the overcoming of odds. But this remarkable piece of history is today at risk of crumbling away into gentrification.

TO SAVE IT

WE MUST ACT NOW.

We envision a space that celebrates our past triumphs, uniting our community through outdoor recreation, in the spirit of the health awareness foremost in the minds of Minneapolis visionaries like Parks Founder Charles Lowry and Parks Superintendent Theodore Wirth. We believe that when acting together, we can recognize Hiawatha’s importance to all of us. Working together, we can create one of the finest golf courses in the Upper Midwest to serve the championship and everyday golfer alike.

But much greater than a golf course, our bold vision for Hiawatha is supported by these four pillars.
